Cyber Risk Analyst
📋 Description
- Conduct vulnerability scans across enterprise assets and report identified vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and review scan results, track remediation progress against objectives.
- Assist in risk-based remediation planning and practical solution recommendations.
- Analyze vulnerabilities by exploitability, threat activity, and business impact to prioritize fixes.
- Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerability management developments.
- Configure vulnerability scanning to reduce noise and improve focus on meaningful events.
🎯 Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in vulnerability assessment or attack surface management (IT and/or
- Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
- Entry-level knowledge of vulnerability management, risk analytics, and risk modeling.
- Practical experience using vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Tenable).
- Understanding of network, system, cloud, and application-layer attacks and mitigations.
- Familiarity with CVSS, CVE, CWE; ability to distinguish risk from severity.
