You’re likely a strong fit if you have:

• 7+ years experience in backend engineering

• Strong Python experience and API design fundamentals

• Experience building and scaling production backend systems

• Working knowledge of ML concepts and how AI fits into real systems

• Exposure to LLMs, AI services, or agent-based architectures

• Comfort working in cloud environments (AWS, CI/CD, containers)

You don’t need to be an ML researcher. They care far more about engineering judgement and system design.

You’ll play a central role in building and scaling agentic backend systems, including:

• Designing backend architectures that support AI agents

• Integrating LLMs and AI services into production workflows

• Owning features end to end, from concept to deployment

• Optimising performance, reliability, and security

• Prototyping quickly and iterating based on feedback

• Defining best practices as the engineering team grows
