Title: Sr .NET Developer
Location: Remote

Duties:
You will develop end-to-end features for our pharmaceutical rebate management platform, working across the full technology stack from SQL Server database to user interface. This role involves building new rebate calculation workflows and member-facing features while modernizing our existing  MVC architecture. You'll spend approximately 60% of your time on feature development for roadmap deliveries including implementing MVC views and controllers, building C# backend services and rebate calculators, creating Entity Framework models and database schemas, and integrating with pharmaceutical data providers (QS1, distributors). The remaining 40% will focus on technical improvement initiatives including performance optimization for complex rebate calculations, reducing technical debt in our legacy .NET Framework codebase, refactoring pharmaceutical business logic patterns, and implementing scalability enhancements for high-volume transaction processing. You will work independently to translate pharmaceutical business requirements into user interface designs and technical implementations, collaborate with backend specialists on rebate calculation APIs, and participate in architecture discussions to shape our platform's evolution. This position requires versatility to context-switch between frontend and backend work while maintaining code quality and adhering to pharmaceutical industry compliance requirements. You'll need to navigate ambiguous rebate calculation requirements, proactively communicate blockers, and bring innovative ideas to improve both user experience and rebate processing architecture.

Skills:
Required:

·       7+ years of full-stack software development experience with C# and modern web frameworks

·       Expert-level C# with .NET Framework 4.7+ for backend API development and pharmaceutical business logic

·       Expert-level ASP.NET MVC 5+ and JavaScript/jQuery for frontend development

·       Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for rebate calculation services

·       Solid expertise with Entity Framework 6+ (Database-First) and SQL Server for complex pharmaceutical data modeling

·       Experience with Azure Cloud Services (Web Roles) and Azure Blob Storage for document management

·       Proficiency in modern frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3/Bootstrap, and responsive design principles

·       Experience with background processing technologies (Azure WebJobs) for automated rebate calculations

·       Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders including pharmaceutical industry professionals

·       Comfortable working in environments with complex business rules and evolving pharmaceutical regulations

·       Proactive problem-solver who surfaces blockers early and drives solutions for mission-critical rebate processing

·       Collaborative team player who brings innovative ideas for rebate calculation features and technical improvements

Preferred:

·       Pharmaceutical or healthcare rebate/contract management experience

·       Legacy .NET Framework application migration and modernization experience

·       Azure cloud services familiarity (Cloud Services, Blob Storage, WebJobs)

·       Experience with complex business rule engines and financial calculation systems

·       Performance optimization for high-volume transaction processing and rebate calculations

·       Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience

·       Understanding of pharmaceutical distribution chains and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) operation
