UI Lead Developer
Key Responsibilities
- UI Development Leadership Lead the design and development of responsive accessible and high performing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Technical Expertise Define frontend architecture enforce coding standards and ensure best practices in UI development
- Collaboration Work closely with UX designers’ backend developers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Performance Optimization Ensure UI components are optimized for speed scalability and security
- Mentorship Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews unit testing and ensure compliance with Barclays security and accessibility standards
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern frameworks such as React JS Angular
- Experience in UI architecture design and component-based development
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs microservices integration and cloud platforms AWS Azure
- Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and responsive design principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in Banking Financial Services domain
- Exposure to Agile delivery environments
- Familiarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps practice sets
