Go Engineer
I’m working with a company that builds large-scale detection systems used to protect people and organisations from online threats. Their tech operates quietly in the background of some huge environments, helping spot and respond to bad actors in real time.
They’re expanding the team and looking for a Golang Engineer to help build and improve internal detection tools. It’s fully remote (UK-based), and you’ll be part of a collaborative, pragmatic engineering culture that values ownership and thoughtful problem-solving.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and improving detection features on internal platforms
- Investigating problems, designing solutions, and writing high-quality Go code
- Working with SQL to design schemas and write efficient queries
- Supporting CI/CD workflows and contributing to incident response when needed
You’ll need:
- Strong experience with Go in production
- Comfortable with SQL databases and query optimisation
- Understanding of caching and queueing systems
- Familiar with modern CI/CD tools (GitLab or similar)
