We are looking for an early career software engineer with a strong interest in distributed database technologies and cloud computing platforms and a passion to build at a high velocity.

• Build our database infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems and database technologies.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Identify and solve for bottlenecks within our software stack.

• Distributed Time Synchronization Service
• Metadata support for Rolling Upgrades
• Change Data Capture

Search terms: distributed systems, database, storage

• 3~4 years of professional work experience in distributed systems and/or distributed database internals.
• Experience in programming languages in one or more of Go, C++, Java, Python.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Familiarity with current cloud technologies.
• Conceptual understanding of networking, OS fundamentals.
