Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior UI/UX Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to be helping to design and deliver on the next generation transportation management systems that transportation agencies around the world are using to make the roads a safer place for the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Take requirements and design modern user experience mockups using Figma.
• Implement designs in React using functional components and modern component libraries like Material UI (MUI).
• Understand and contribute to the overall architecture of the front-end application.
• Utilize tools like Vite and mono-repos to create an enterprise UI with single sign-on and real-time updates.
• Manage state using context and Redux.
• Proficient in automated testing frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components.
• Be a self-starter, capable of working independently and understanding complex requirements.
• Experience with backend Java API development is a plus

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in the Java ecosystem.
• Experience using Web and API frameworks including React JS, Angular, REST, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, JSON, JSP, Servlets
• Experience with Atlassian products: Confluence, JIRA, and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration toolsets and concepts
• Experience interfacing with back-end applications using RESTful web services, SOAP, message queues, JSON etc.
• Experience in using cloud based managed services such as AWS, Google, or Azure
• Proficient understanding of modern IDEs
• Experience working on Windows / Linux / Unix development and production environments
