Developer Publications is responsible for a broad range of products and features designed to assist developers of all skill levels on their journey.From Apple’s developer documentation available online (developer.apple.com/documentation) to open-source projects like Swift DocC, which enables internal and external developers to create great documentation, to features integrated with Xcode, our team’s responsibilities span a wide variety of technologies.

In this role, you will join a multifunctional team of passionate engineers dedicated to maintaining our existing documentation ecosystem and continuously exploring new ways to support developers as they bring their ideas to life. With your front-end expertise, you’ll complement the team and help implement the next evolution of how developers interact with our technologies and learn to use them effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or 5 years of equivalent work experience.

• Experience with web front-end technologies like Vue/React or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and best practices for integrating with backend services.
• Practical knowledge of unit testing/Test Driven Development and experience with performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and databases is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong decision-making skills to make effective technical and design choices while balancing trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.
