Our products

Dyad develops products for healthcare operations in NHS primary care and in the US for providers and payers. This includes:

BetterLetter, our human-in-the-loop AI tool helping practices decrease their admin burden in processing clinical letters. We use this to reduce staff time spent identifying codes to be applied to the record as well as suggesting follow-up tasks and workflow optimisations. BetterLetter helps providers save time, save cost, improve performance under audit and build staffing resilience.

BetterQuality, our payer-focused tool for improving compliance against a range of quality measures including HEDIS, STARs, eCQM, MIPS and more. We help payers and providers extract information from clinical documents and integrate it with structured data to provide near real-time quality measure calculations and analytics.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated senior-level Phoenix Developer with a front-end focus to join our Applied AI team at Dyad. This role is a significant part of the development of our quality-focused healthcare products in the US market. You will be working on cutting-edge projects that harness advanced machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems in healthcare, and by joining at this stage, you have the opportunity to shape the application interfaces to our AI technology in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Help to develop and maintain the Phoenix-based application (BetterQuality) that we use to deliver AI-powered efficiency tools to healthcare quality teams.
Take a leadership role in the front-end development of our applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop AI-driven features and applications.
Implement robust testing, monitoring, and quality assurance processes.
Work with our co-development partners to implement feedback and feature requests

Requirements

Expertise in Elixir, specifically with Phoenix and LiveView frameworks.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices.
At least five years of commercial software development experience, including experience with systems in production environments.
Experience translating UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
Familiarity and direct experience developing from common design tools, particularly Figma.
Proven collaboration experience with cross-functional teams, especially design teams. This includes strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

Experience working in complex, regulated domains such as healthcare or finance.
Previous experience working with AI or data science teams.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Experience with CSS frameworks and tools such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG guidelines).
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
