Engineering Manager, Shipping & Logistics

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, inclusive software team.
• Own shipping and logistics domain end-to-end: carrier integrations, rates, label gen.
• Set and guide technical direction, backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery processes.
• Balance new features, debt, support, and long-term sustainability.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape roadmaps and decisions.
• Champion AI adoption in planning, triage, and development with guardrails.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing product-focused software teams delivering business value.
• Hands-on software engineering background for architectural decisions and mentoring.
• SAAS/startup/e-commerce experience desirable; shipping/fulfillment a plus.
• Experience with AI agents in engineering workflows and clear value demonstration.
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and software fundamentals (TDD, SOLID, scalable design).
• Ability to balance priorities and communicate with stakeholders.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year
