Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (IoT Integrations)

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end architecture of Rails apps and APIs for connected-device fleets
• Design IoT communication layers using MQTT, WebSockets, CoAP, HTTP
• Architect high-volume telemetry ingestion and real-time pipelines
• Evaluate build-vs-buy for IoT platforms, brokers, and data stores
• Design scalable DB schemas for time-series workloads
• Integrate cloud IoT services (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub) including OTA workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years professional software engineering with at least 6 years in Ruby on Rails
• Proven production IoT integrations experience
• Deep MQTT or equivalent messaging protocol experience at scale
• Strong API architecture including versioning and contracts
• Extensive PostgreSQL or MySQL experience with performance tuning
• Redis, Sidekiq, and distributed background jobs knowledge
