📋 Description

• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
• Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing intriguing bugs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience implementing vector similarity techniques on a large-scale search platform; familiarity
• Professional experience with search or vector databases; used algorithms/libraries such as HNSW
• Strong Java background; solid knowledge of data structures, concurrency, lambdas, and the standard
• Experience designing and leading cross-functional initiatives; autonomy to own projects from
• Ability to collaborate across teams, provide feedback on code and API designs, and work
• Experience with multiple data storage technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
