- Own our database infrastructure for stability and performance
- Monitor, alert, and respond to production issues
- Optimize MySQL configurations for production environments
- Improve schemas, indexes, and query patterns with engineers
- Plan upgrades, migrations, and config changes with minimal risk
- Support junior teammates and promote knowledge sharing
🎯 Requirements
- 7+ years of production MySQL or similar DB experience
- Cloud experience and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- AWS RDS/Aurora or Azure DB experience preferred
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
