📋 Description

• Lead the team building Alpaca's algo trading platform for high quality, high performance brokerage
• Design and architect the platform; write code while guiding the team's delivery and roadmap.
• Hands-on leadership: code, design reviews, production issues, and technical decisions.
• Own team roadmap, delivery, and engineer growth; collaborate with product, operations, and other

🎯 Requirements

• Senior or staff level software engineer with prior team leadership experience.
• Mentor engineers, drive growth, and deliver complex systems on schedule.
• Proficient in low and high level languages: C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Python.
• Experience with low latency, high throughput systems; distributed architectures; OMS/RMS knowledge.
• Experience with messaging queues, observability, and cloud platforms (GCP). Familiarity with Docker
