Chainlink Labs was ranked in Newsweek’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 in both the United States and United Kingdom.As the Governance Liaison Lead at Chainlink Labs, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing our governance strategy initiatives. You will play a critical role in cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders for DAOs associated with our top DeFi accounts. Additionally, you will develop strategies for ecosystem development and frameworks to align the Chainlink community with the relevant DAOs.

Objectives of this Role

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for DAOs related to our top DeFi accounts and blockchain foundations
• Formulate the strategy for ecosystem development and community alignment
• Drive proactive development, socialization, and delegate commitment to proposals for major DAOs, whether protocol or blockchain foundation.
• Lead negotiations to pass proposals with DAOs as necessary.
• Utilize your extensive network and relationships within the crypto space to engage with senior stakeholders in relevant target entities like DAOs, delegate networks, and liquidity sources such as private whale investors, wealth funds, family offices, and VCs.
• Leverage your business development experience to originate, negotiate, and pass strategic proposals, working closely with legal, finance, and product teams.
• Demonstrate deep experience working across web3 in blockchains, decentralized applications (dApps), or industry players.
• Serve as a credible external spokesperson for Chainlink Labs in public and community forums.
• Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to thrive in a startup environment, being agile and responsive to company and market needs.
• Possess technical foundations and/or experience working in a technical/security-oriented environment.
• Be willing to travel frequently for in-person events and meetings.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and managing relationships with key stakeholders in the crypto space, particularly within DAOs, delegate networks, and liquidity sources.
• Business development experience, including originating, negotiating, and closing partnerships or deals with creative terms.
• Deep understanding of web3 technologies, blockchains, and decentralized applications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
• Technical foundations and/or experience working in a technical/security-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently for in-person events and meetings.
