Our client is a start-up founded two years ago, now with recent funding incoming they are looking to increase their headcount and hire a Founding Engineer to their team. They work closely with supermarkets, allowing customers to quickly organize their baskets utilizing AI. You’ll work directly with the CEO and CTO, taking full ownership of features and helping define how engineering operates from day one.

What We’re Looking For

Built and shipped full features end-to-end, full ownership
Bias for action, autonomy, and impact over perfection
Comfortable in ambiguity and high-speed environments
Ideally London-based (remote with regular in-person collaboration
Have a track record of exceptional performance across academics, work, or side projects

Experience

4+ years’ experience in full-stack or product engineering, React Native + Expo (frontend)
Built and shipped full features end-to-end, full ownership
Entrepreneurship, maybe you had your own start-up or side hustle
Bonus: Experience with ML workflows, mobile infra, or recommender systems
