YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
VALUABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Participate in the entire production life cycle of backend and frontend applications for our messaging business (full-stack development)
- Help the support teams diagnose and resolve technical queries from customers
- Maintain solutions and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Work closely with the rest of the team to implement features on our roadmap
- Ensure the best performance, quality, cost efficiency possible of the applications
- Share information with the rest of the team and provide solid technical documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with a cloud provider like AWS or Google
- Understanding of software and security best practices
- BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent with programming experience in multiple languages
- Experience monitoring and managing highly available applications
- Experience building and maintaining APIs
- Experience with PHP, Node.js, MongoDB
- Database administration experience
- Linux server administration experience
- Based in the UK
VALUABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience with SQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Knockout.js and Tailwind.css
- Experience building web interfaces
