Help build ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World, the foremost collection of geographic information from around the globe. It includes maps, apps, and data layers that have been brought to life to support GIS and mapping work across the ArcGIS platform. You will create cutting-edge online maps and layers that support a broad array of uses, in story maps, apps and dashboards as well as more traditional desktop GIS and spatial analysis. In bringing these layers of information to life, your ability and passion for telling the story of the data is important.
You will tackle data collection and visualization challenges to produce innovative online services that will become the foundation for web GIS. You will produce maps on many topics including urban systems, landscape, the economy, demographics/lifestyles, and transportation. Your maps will inspire, provide answers to questions on important issues, and establish best practices in cartography to the GIS mapping community. You will share your work via story maps, social media, blogs, and videos. While creating these data sets, layers, maps, apps, dashboards, and story maps, you will share your experiences and observations with various software development teams.
